Sighting the Moon | Ramadan Scrapbook

This is one of my favorite pages in my Ramadan scrapbook. I love the clouds and moon, the soft colors and of course what the page represents: a community coming together to sight the moon for Ramadan.

I’ve been scrapbooking our Ramadan experience for many years now, but for the past three years I’ve been using Becky Higgins Project Life pocket page protectors to do daily or weekly memory keeping.

To put this layout together, I used Mister Huey’s white opaque paint to color the clouds white. I also used my Minc foiling machine to add aqua foil to the text and title on my journaling card.

I still don’t have my pictures yet, but I did leave spots blank for them for when they arrive…any day now, InshaAllah!

I’m using Heidi Swapp Project Life cards in my all time favorite mini kit. The cards are thick and beautifully printed in aqau, pink and gold foil.
